22nd August - The Queenship of Blessed Virgin Mary
The Blessed Virgin Mary should be called Queen, not only because of her Divine Motherhood, but also because God has willed her to have an exceptional role in the work of our eternal salvation - Blessed Pope Pius XII.
Dear Queen Mother in Heaven, you are our protectress, our refuge, our hope, and our sweet delight. We run to you today whose affection is perfect and whose motherly love is unmatched to intercede for us before your Son our Lord Jesus Christ and to bestow upon us all that we need.
