6th June – Saint Norbert
A talkative, over-curious, and restless person is like an oven which is open and exposed on all sides, and which keeps no heat; you will never enjoy the sweetness of a quiet prayer unless you shut your mind to all worldly desires and temporal affairs - Saint Norbert.
Saint Norbert, you discovered that a worldly life, one that seeks only selfish goals, is empty. Once God spoke to your heart, calling you close to Himself, you listened and responded. Please pray for me, that I will become keenly aware of God’s will in my life and will respond with total generosity and zeal. (My Catholic Life)
