Saint Francis of Assisi once said, “Sanctify yourself and you will sanctify society." These words truly describe the life of Saint Narcissus, a second century bishop of Jerusalem, who lived a very holy life and whose holiness inspired those under him to be holy as well.
Go out today and inspire someone to live a good and holy life.
So my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, it is time to grow, nurture and deepen our faith in God as Jesus taught us in today’s gospel reading. So let us do so, by living out the gospel of Christ when we practice the virtues of Patience, Perseverance, Humility and Confidence in God.
So my brothers and sisters, since today’s Palm Sunday celebration calls us to pledge our allegiance and loyalty to God who loves us through penance, mortification, fasting, charity and prayers, let us do so today with Humility, Patience and firmness of faith in Him as we participate in His passion and death this Holy Week.
