To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek him the greatest adventure; to find him, the greatest human achievement.

Chi Zhuzi, an 18 year old companion of Augustine Zhao Rong cried out to those who had just cut off his right arm and were preparing to flay him alive: “Every piece of my flesh, every drop of my blood will tell you that I am Christian.”
So my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, it is time to grow, nurture and deepen our faith in God as Jesus taught us in today’s gospel reading. So let us do so, by living out the gospel of Christ when we practice the virtues of Patience, Perseverance, Humility and Confidence in God.
So my brothers and sisters, since today’s Palm Sunday celebration calls us to pledge our allegiance and loyalty to God who loves us through penance, mortification, fasting, charity and prayers, let us do so today with Humility, Patience and firmness of faith in Him as we participate in His passion and death this Holy Week.
