God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (Hence) Our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action - St. John the Apostle
So my dear brothers and sisters, as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity today, let us appreciate and proclaim the love of the Triune God, by going out and making disciples of all nations; by teaching them to observe all that God has commanded us; and by reminding all that God is always with us, until the end of the age.
My dear brothers and sisters, today’s Solemnity calls us to be one in God, in the Holy Trinity, to stay away from greed, jealousy and envy, rather focus on proclaiming God and living out His love in our thoughts, words and actions, so as to bring unity and peace into our lives and into our world.
Let us pray that the gifts of the Holy Spirit we have received in Confirmation may bring about docility in our lives; help and assist us to pray better, and unite us with Christ who suffered to saved us.
