We can learn much from St James: promptness in accepting the Lord's call even when He asks us to leave the "boat" of our human securities, enthusiasm in following Him on the paths that he indicates to us over and above any deceptive presumption of our own, readiness to witness to Him with courage, if necessary to the point of making the supreme sacrifice - Pope Benedict XVI
So my dear brothers and sisters, as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity today, let us appreciate and proclaim the love of the Triune God, by going out and making disciples of all nations; by teaching them to observe all that God has commanded us; and by reminding all that God is always with us, until the end of the age.
My dear brothers and sisters, today’s Solemnity calls us to be one in God, in the Holy Trinity, to stay away from greed, jealousy and envy, rather focus on proclaiming God and living out His love in our thoughts, words and actions, so as to bring unity and peace into our lives and into our world.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ today, let us love God all the more in the Holy Eucharist by being grateful and thankful for His blessings, graces and mercies upon us; by deepening and strengthening our faith in Him, by saying ‘no’ to sin; by being united as one in Christ; and lastly, by committing ourselves to the poor.
