22nd January – Saint Vincent of Saragossa
The most powerful weapon to conquer the devil is humility. For, as he does not know at all how to employ it, neither does he know how to defend himself from it - Saint Vincent of Saragossa.
Saint Vincent, in the face of persecution and torture, you remained courageous, even fixated on the love of Christ. You conquered the evil one by your fidelity and were crowned with glorious martyrdom. Please pray for us, that we may also receive that crown through my daily sacrifices of love. (My Catholic Life)
