Saint Justa and Saint Rufina, virgins of the Church, and martyrs for the faith. You worked tirelessly throughout your brief lives to serve the poor, standing up for your beliefs, and fearlessly dying rather than betray your faith in Christ. Pray for us that God will strengthen us with His love, grace and courage to fight against the devil, against terrors and troubles, temptations, attractions, darkness and false lights, against tears, depression, and above all fear.

Justa and Rufina died as martyrs for our faith. Their lives teach us what it means to follow the First Commandment: "I am the Lord your God. You shall not have other gods besides me."
