16th December – St. Albina of Caesarea
For though we are beheaded, and crucified, and exposed to beasts and chains and fire and all other forms of torture, it is plain that we do not forsake the confession of our faith - St. Justin Martyr.
Tradition holds that St. Albina was a very young woman when she was martyred in 250 AD. She courageously overcome her natural fear of death and refused to renounce Christ, but persisted in her Faith unto death. (Roman Martyrology)
