11th March – Saint Eulogius of Cordoba
You must fight till death and leave God to defend his church: you must fight till death because in such a struggle as this victory is won by death alone - Saint Eulogius of Cordoba.
Heavenly Father, Give us the courage to strive for the highest goals, to flee every temptation to be mediocre. Enable us to aspire to greatness, as St. Eulogius, and to open our hearts with joy to Your call to holiness. Free us from the fear of failure. We want to be, Lord, firmly and forever united to You. Grant us the graces we ask You through St. Eulogius’s intercession, by the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
