11th December - Saint Damasus
He who walking on the sea could calm the bitter waves, who gives life to the dying seeds of the earth; He who was able to loose the mortal chains of death, and after three days darkness could bring again to the upper world the brother for his sister Martha: He, I believe, will make Damasus rise again from the dust - Saint Damasus
Pope Saint Damasus, you lived during a transformative time in the history of the Church. Through you, God navigated the Church of your day, leading toward a fuller image of the Kingdom of Heaven. Please pray for us, that we, in our own way, will make ourselves more fully available to God so that He can use us to help navigate His Church through the challenges it faces in our day and age.
