May I love you, O Lord, my strength; O Lord, my pillar, and my refuge, and my deliverer - Saint Bogumilus of Gniezno.
O Lord, our God, hear the plea of the people devoted to you with all their heart, through the prayers of Saint Bogumilus, keep our nation in the health of soul and body, fulfilling all their requests. We ask these through Christ our Lord, Amen.
So my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, it is time to grow, nurture and deepen our faith in God as Jesus taught us in today’s gospel reading. So let us do so, by living out the gospel of Christ when we practice the virtues of Patience, Perseverance, Humility and Confidence in God.
So my brothers and sisters, since today’s Palm Sunday celebration calls us to pledge our allegiance and loyalty to God who loves us through penance, mortification, fasting, charity and prayers, let us do so today with Humility, Patience and firmness of faith in Him as we participate in His passion and death this Holy Week.
Saint Giles Mary of Saint Joseph is living proof of Saint Mother Teresa’s famous quote: “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
