10th April – Saint Miguel de Sanctis
Joy, with peace, is the sister of charity. Serve the Lord with laughter - Saint Padre Pio.
Saint Miguel de Sanctis is noted in the Roman Martyrology as being “remarkable for innocence of life, wonderful penitence, and love for God.” He had a great devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and was known for experiencing ecstasies during the consecration of the host during Mass. He was known for his holiness and enthusiasm for a life of prayer. His generous service to the poor, the unfortunate and the sick made him a compassionate Priest and a faithful friend.
